DHDO (Digital Home Documentation & Organization) is a division of Bradberry Construction & Design, a construction company founded in Lake Charles over five years ago. Before DHDO documented a single home, Bradberry was already building, renovating, and rebuilding them across Southwest Louisiana — custom homes, remodels, and disaster recovery work after the storms. That’s the part worth knowing about us: we know what a house looks like from the studs out, what a file is missing when someone starts asking questions about it, and what gets left undocumented when documentation is somebody’s afterthought.
That background is why DHDO exists as its own company rather than a service line. We kept watching people try to rebuild the record of what a property held after it was already gone — from memory, from a shoebox of receipts, from whatever photos happened to survive. Memory is not a record. So we built a team whose only job is to create the record first, while everything is still standing and easy to see.
We see value in helping you get ready instead of helping you recover. Everything we do is built around creating the record while a property is whole and calm and easy to walk through, because that is the only time it can be done properly.

Jonathan Bradberry grew up in Calcasieu Parish. Both of his parents spent their lives serving this community, so putting the community first was never a business philosophy in his house. It was just how you were raised.
He went into construction, and a good share of that work turned out to be disaster recovery — walking into houses after the water went down, standing in rooms with the drywall cut out four feet up, helping families put back together what a storm had taken apart. He saw a lot of homes at the worst moment in their history.
The rebuild was never the hardest part. The hardest part came before it, at the kitchen table, when a family sat down to settle a claim and was asked to prove what they had owned. Almost nobody could. People described furniture from memory. They guessed at the year they bought a refrigerator. They went looking for a receipt in a house that no longer had drawers.
So claims stretched out, and stretched out again, over documentation nobody had thought to create in advance. Settlements came back short of what rebuilding actually cost. Insurance agents who genuinely wanted to help could not answer their own clients’ questions, because the answers had never been written down anywhere. And families who had lost everything were left without what they needed to start over.
None of that happened because those families did anything wrong. It happened because the record did not exist, and by the time anyone needed it, it was far too late to make one. DHDO exists to move that work to the front — to do the hard part while the house is still standing, so the answer is already on file. In South Louisiana, it’s not a matter of when, there is always a next time. Preparedness is the one part of it we get to choose.
The families I’ve helped rebuild all said some version of the same thing: I wish I’d done this before. Preparedness is the one part of this you still get to choose. Our job is to make it easy to choose.
DHDO is based in Lake Charles. This is our home market, not a territory we expanded into, and that shows up in ordinary ways — we know which neighborhoods took water, which ones are still rebuilding, and which roads go first when the rain sets in.
Through Bradberry Construction & Design, our team is already part of the working community here: contractors, Realtors, insurance agents and adjusters, property managers, attorneys, estate planners, and HOA boards across Calcasieu Parish. We started in Lake Charles because we’re already invested here and we already know the people we’d be serving. But storms don’t stop at the parish line, and neither should preparedness — our aim is to grow across South Louisiana, into every community that knows what it means to watch a forecast. We work with HOA boards and neighborhood groups for the same reason: the more homes on a street that already have a record, the less of that street’s recovery has to start from memory.

Our Tag Techs handle the walkthrough with you and the detail work behind it — photographing items, capturing makes, models, and serial numbers, matching your receipts to the right item, and building the organized asset record that turns a 3D scan into documentation you can actually use.
